This is the weighted sum of individual interest rates, as at the end of the reporting period, on new finance that was funded in the reporting period, where the weights used are the corresponding balances expressed as a share of the total balance. The interest rate is the contractual rate to be paid to or received by the customer/counterparty/debtholder.
